【内容】
漆芸修復「金継ぎ」などを通じて、日本文化の魅力を発信します。
日本文化と伝統工芸である漆芸修復を解説や修復事例などご紹介します。
文化財修復に不可欠な漆芸技法は、クールジャパンとして世界が注目する京都文化であり、すでに海外からの来店も増加しています。本講座・体験教室は、漆芸修復を主に、日本文化構造学研究会の著書を活用し、漆芸修復以外の日本文化や、伝統的芸術、工芸、花、建築など、多様な日本文化を総合的に伝えます。
「英文の文化観光情報誌の掲載記事」や「日英文によるオリジナルの紹介資料」も準備しており、京都から世界に日本文化を発信していきます。
Japanese culture is unlike many others, nurtured from the unique sensitivities of ancestors in pursuit of wonderful craftsmanship. In addition, those ancestors did not forget to pass on to the next generation, the spirit, skills and hopes developed through their creations. In recent years, however, as chemical products, mass manufacturing and mass consumption have become mainstream, it seems that people‘s feelings towards the 'things' they are given, have changed greatly.
That does not mean that all things are treated in this way. It is the customer's natural feelings of wanting to keep the memories of and inherit something that is dear to them, which we would like to acknowledge with the spirit and techniques of traditional methods, and express its beauty.
Through 'kintsugi', the traditional method of restoration using urushi, an example of ancient Japanese culture, we hope to continue conveying the innate spirit of the Japanese people.
